I finally finished my matching cardigan (Kwik Sew 3232) last week, and it certainly came in handy on my walks these past few cool mornings.
The whole project was fairly quick, less than 3 hours. One problem I had was too short a zipper; measure for your zipper after your FBA, not before! I don’t think it will matter much, this is just for walking or while playing sports.
I also decided to practice turning corners with my cover-stitch machine… apparently, I need more practice. I went over the corners with my regular sewing machine afterward to tidy them up, not a big deal.
And lastly, I embroidered my initials on the shoulder – because where else do you get to use your chartreuse embroidery thread?
