Don’t you love the color blocking on this skirt?!
Becki says this skirt is so easy to make and the pieces fit together like a dream. The unique curved inset is what makes this skirt a standout. Imagine the endless fabric combinations as well as different trims to try!
Left: Large Floral Bouquet Stretch Cotton Sateen Right: Black Stretch Cotton Sateen
The unique curved inset starts in the front and wraps around to the back.
The hemline has two zippers that can open a little or a lot!
To get in the skirt, Becki installed the invisible zipper on the right side.
Andrea’s pattern has all of the components of a ladylike skirt: A-line and of course the color pink!
Nailheads and Belt Loops
This skirt has jean and cargo pockets. Andrea topstitched the jean pocket closed.
It was a more flattering look for her figure type.
And what’s a new skirt without a new blouse?
Shades of Pink Circles Cotton Lawn was the perfect match!
It also looks great with Andrea’s blue jean pencil skirt!
Andrea and Becki will be taking a break in July. Stay tuned for an upcoming giveaway! Be sure to follow us on social media: @sewmuchfabric, @sewtofit, @bekichitwood or sign up for the Sew Much Fabric mailing list for details on how to win!!
