This is a denim upgrade! Mid weight and malleable, this denim feels like a heavy weight silk noil. Don’t really want to make a pair of traditional jeans? Then use your favorite pant pattern and make a pair of denim trousers.

Pattern Suggestions: McCalls 5429, McCalls 5314, Simplicity 4084, Vogue 2981Sewing Tips: Use a Schmetz 1792 topstitching needle for even, smooth topstitching. The fabric becomes drapier if prewashed in cold water/dry on perma-press cycle. There was minimal shrinkage. I would dry clean after first washing to maintain the color.
