Dress Code for People Over 40
Many of us “Old Folks” (those over 40, WAY over 40 orhovering near 40) are quite confused about how we shouldpresent ourselves. We’re unsure about the kind of image weare projecting and whether or not we are correct as we tryto conform to current fashions. Despite what you may haveseen on the streets, the following combinations DO NOT gotogether and should be avoided:1. A nose ring and bifocals or trifocals2. Spiked hair and bald spots3. A pierced tongue and dentures4. Minis skirts and support hose5. Ankle bracelets and corn pads6. Speedo’s and cellulite7. A belly button ring and a gall bladder surgery scar8. Unbuttoned disco shirts and a heart monitor9. Midriff shirts and a midriff bulge10. Bikinis and liver spots11. Short shorts and varicose veins12. Inline skates and a walkerAnd last, but not least . . . my personal favorite:13. Thongs and DependsPlease keep these basic guidelines foremost in your mindwhen you shop.
